Wicks on NorthWest Cable News Morning Show
Seattle, WA (August 9, 2001) - Russ Wicks, American Challenge pilot, was a guest on the NBC affiliate owned NorthWest Cable News Morning Show this morning at 7:30. The show is hosted by Emmy award winning anchor couple Meg Coyle and Michael King. About Russ Wicks:
American and Seattle native Russ Wicks is the pilot for the American Challenge craft. On June 15, 2000, Wicks became the fastest man on water in a propeller-driven boat while racing across Lake Washington in an Unlimited Hydroplane. The event received extensive media attention including coverage by ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX Sports as well as a 30-minute documentary featured on ESPN’s Speed World.
