Adventure Signs is a Partner of American Challenge

Adventure Signs & Graphics (formerly Traksigns) was founded in 1994 by two guys who enjoyed racing cars as a hobby.   Between the two of us, we owned 4 race cars.   Besides racing ourselves, we rented the race cars to other drivers who did not want the hassle of owning, maintaining and hauling a race car from track to track.   More often than not we were required to change the car markings from week to week as the drivers changed.   It became a hassle to work with a local sign shop that did not understand the specific needs of the racing client.   We found that buying a vinyl cutting plotter and the necessary stock solved the problem for us and we decided to start a business (Traksigns) to take the service of making race car graphics directly to the drivers and car owners at the race events.

After one season of selling graphics to the racers, we had turned a good profit and decided to pursue a formal business plan and set out to serve the business community as well.   In 1995 I was let go from my "real job" at a Seattle area high tech firm and decided to make a real effort in the sign business.   In 1998 I purchased my partners share of the business and changed the name to Adventure Signs & Graphics.
